FEATURED ARTIST
The Anonymous
Hailing from the Metro Detroit suburbs, the hip hop duo of Goldzilla! (mc) and Some Kid (dj/engineer), collectively known as the Anonymous, emerged from the underground hip hop scene in the early 2000s. The Anonymous started out in freestyle cyphers and basement college parties. After finding a local following the duo dropped the ‘Love is Not an Orgasm’ EP in 2005 and ‘God’s Day Off’ in 2006. After a brief hiatus, the token blacks are back with a fresh new approach to new millennium hip hop. With a forthcoming album being released by Woodbridge Records, the Anonymous spent 2010 and 2011 sharing the stage with local greats such as the Summer Pledge, Noman, Detroit Party Marching Band and many more.
