Greetings all!
So we just got started with Woodbridge Records over here at the Big Grey Shack and are making some serious progress. Robbie is almost done with the websites for WBR and Noman. Andrew and Shayne are steady droppin the much needed funds in the bank for the upcoming releases. Speaking of records here’s what we have planned:
WBR-001 Noman-Broadcast. Recorded in August of 2008 at the legendary Electrical Audio by Steve Albini (Nirvana/Pixies). These Detroit dudes deliver hard-hitting acoustic fronted punk with hints of Dylan and mid-90s hardcore. Broadcast will be available in December on 500 copies of green wax/cd. Free mp3 coupon with purchase of vinyl.
WBR-002 I,Crime-Doveskin Gloves 7′. Recorded in the summer of 2008, this Detroit four-some produces dynamic grungey-pop with a musical savvy that can only be found in the Detroit rock underground. This little number will be available in Dec/Jan.
WBR-003 The Summer Pledge-Recurring Dream 7′. Clocking in at 10:10, The Summer Pledge present their first recorded effort in the shape of one instrumental journey through their collective influences. Recurring Dream will without a doubt be the reference point for the rest of their career. This song is all they are: experimental/melodic/space jams.
WBR-004 I,Crime. Currently being recorded by the Grammy nominated Collin Dupuis.

hello everybody! things are getting busy over here at the big grey shack. we finally received the noman lps and cds from pirates press and they look amazing. we’re still figuring out the pricing but you will be able to purchase a copy on white vinyl at their record release show at the magic stick on january 15th.
next up is wbr-002, the i,crime-doveskin gloves 7”. andrew will be picking the test presses up from archer press today. we are all very excited to hear this gem.
the summer pledge has their first release coming up this month as well. the recurring dream 7” should be ready in time for their appearance at the cass collective on jan 25th. this space jam is coming on 200 copies of black wax with locked grooves on both sides. speaking of the summer pledge, they have just finished recording the full length you are you with andrew davis of white room studios. look for this in march 2009.
other than getting these records out, noman, i,crime and the summer pledge are all getting out of town this month so make sure to check the myspace and the soon to be up woodbridgerecords.com for tour updates.
